and see what we’re talking about.
Beautiful mountains, spectacular
glens, forests and moors, rivers and lochs, the sky and the sea and of course,
the people.
Our history has been turbulent,
although the last battle on British soil took place in 1746 and since then
the Scots have got on with what they do best - getting on with others, inventing
things, making whisky and producing wonderful tartan cloth.
Tartan and the Clan system,
played a big part in our history and today, whilst the Clan system is
largely ceremonial, we have the colours of the Tartans to remind us of our
past. If you have a Scottish connection then you are right welcome!
